If you are getting an error message claiming that A.I.D. is damaged and needs to be repaired, this means that A.I.D. crashed or was shut down improperly. The file can usually be fixed without losing any of your data. To fix the damaged file, follow these instructions:
1. Double-click the "Recover" file in your A.I.D. folder
2. Click the "Recover" button when prompted
3. Select the corrupted file in your A.I.D. folder.
A new copy of the corrupted file will be created, and and the problem should be fixed.
